VimpelCom’s Kazakhstani unit Beeline KZ has selected SON solutions provider Cellwize as its SON provider.

Cellwize’s elastic-SON software platform will optimise Beeline’s network and deliver flexible response to the rapidly growing need for data, improving throughput and the customer experience.

The nationwide deployment of Cellwize elastic-SON follows the successful 2 months trial that resulted in significant improvement in both network performance and coverage in the Beeline Kazakhstan network.

The operator, which has over 9 million subscribers, selected Cellwize’s solution to improve the operational efficiency of its complex infrastructure, reduce dropped calls in the network and improve customer experience.
