Telefónica Digital is deploying Funambol’s personal cloud solution across Telefónica operating units in Europe and Latin America, with the service already live in Brazil.

The Funambol solution enables consumers to store, sync and share rich media such as pictures, video and music, documents, and files across smartphones, tablets, PCs/Macs and other connected devices.

"As our customers generate and manage more files and data on mobile devices, we see significant demand for a smart consumer cloud storage solution,” said Tracy Isacke, Head of Global Business Development, Telefónica Digital.

Telefónica Digital has built a strong portfolio of cloud services covering all market segments—from large enterprise and public sector to small and medium sized businesses, and consumers. With its very significant customer base across multiple geographies, this partnership is a major opportunity for Funambol to increase its global footprint.
