One of Poland’s largest telecoms operators has launched a new video-on-demand service for its subscribers. INEA’s new Wypo?yczalnia Filmów service is running on the open converged Service Delivery Platform (cSDP) from SeaChange|eventIS, which also served as systems integrator on the project.

With this deployment, SeaChange|eventIS has now provided the platform for four VOD services across Poland. The firm has also switched on VOD services in Slovenia and Hungary.
“SeaChange|eventIS offered the combination of technology flexibility and systems integration expertise that INEA felt was critical to building a platform that can meet our current needs and scale in concert with expanding requirements,” said Janusz Kosinski, president, INEA.  “We successfully rolled out our VOD service within the preset timeline and have enjoyed extremely positive customer feedback since its introduction.”
Erwin van Dommelen, president, SeaChange Software, added:  “As one of Poland’s larger telecoms providers, INEA is now positioned to serve its existing customer base and grow alongside the increasing popularity of its services.”
